The three-hour session of oratory that took Kolkata by storm on 11^th July 2022 was the 23rd L. N. Birla Memorial Invitational Debate. Amongst the 17 schools that competed against each other in the Preliminary Round on 9th July, held at Birla High School, Mukundapur, only 8 qualified for the Final Round that was held at G. D. Birla Sabhaghar. The session was chaired by eminent physician and debater Dr. Kunal Sarkar who kept the audience entertained with snippets of wisdom.

While schools like Loreto House and Birla High School won the Runner-up Speaker Award jointly, the participants of Sushila Birla Girls' School surpassed everybody with the acquisition of three impressive positions. Madhunisha Majumder of the Proposition bagged the Runner-up Speaker Trophy and Noyonika Ghose from the Opposition was adjudged the Best Speaker. Together the team, which also comprised Riddhima Kuthari as a Q Panellist, won everybody's heart by securing the position of the Best Team. It is indeed a time for great celebration at Sushila Birla Girls' School.
