Global School Alliance


Five students from Class IX and Six from Class XI participated in the Secondary Student Council Meeting of the Global School Alliance on 12th May, 2022. Naqiyyah Calcuttawala and Riya Jindal represented the school and made a presentation on Plastic Pollution, the topic chosen by the Council. They suggested ways to mitigate the problem by adopting eco-friendly measures and also spoke about the upcycling drive conducted by them in school. They made planters with plastic bottles and stationery holders with plastic bags. Other participating schools in the meeting were Liger Leadership Academy, New Zealand; Rushcliffe School, UK; Lichfield Cathedral School, U.K.; Defne Buyukcat School, Turkey; Sunbeam School, Varanasi and Heritage School Kolkata to name a few.
