The Primary Section of Sushila Birla Girls’ School observed Road Safety Week with great enthusiasm from 9th January to 13th January 2023. Safety rules in school, on the road, at home and during a picnic were discussed at length with the children.

The Nursery students of Sushila Birla Girls’ School were shown Youtube videos and the meaning of ‘Being Safe’ was explained. Sorting activity using everyday articles, role play to emphasize the use of zebra crossing and in class activities to further understanding of the road and traffic signs were effectively conducted.

The students of Kindergarten interviewed the sergeant at Hungerford Street and Shakespeare Sarani crossing.

Students of Class IV made a PPT for their fellow students and went to all the classes to propagate the importance of safety rules. It was heartening to watch the role play by the students.

Students of Class III made posters to display their understanding of safety rules.
