World Computer Literacy Day

World Computer Literacy Day is observed on the 2nd of December every year to promote digital literacy and reduce the digital divide in the world.

Digital transformation is the need of the hour and we at Sushila Birla Girls’ School strive to empower not only our students but also their parents with skills to enable them to keep pace with the digitised world.

World Computer Literacy Day was celebrated in the primary section with great enthusiasm. This year, the students of the primary section celebrated this day by imparting some basic computer skills to their grandparents that can help them delve into the digital world confidently and safely. They realised that in the present scenario, the knowledge of computers is essential for people of all ages and the elders should not be left behind.

The students of Classes III to V trained the elders in their families to design digital cards, while the mothers of our students from Nursery to Class II learnt the same from our computer teacher, Ms. D. Chatterjee. It was a great learning experience for all.
