A team of three students (Diya Bothra Class IV, Ishita Ghosh Class V and Twisha Agarwal Class VI) participated in ‘Spellympic 2019’, an Inter School spelling and word building contest organised by Birla High School, Mukundapur, on Friday, 6th December, 2019. 19 schools participated in the fest.

There were five rounds in which questions related to vocabulary, jumbled words, antonyms, synonyms, homophones and proverbs were asked. In the last round, participants played online scrabble.

The Sushila Birla Girls' School team won the contest. They were awarded the Winners trophy. Each student also received a set of books, a medal, a certificate, a gift voucher of Rs. 500 and a kindle e-reader.
