In today’s rapidly advancing world, the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) play a pivotal role in driving innovation and shaping the future. However, despite progress in gender equality, there remains a persistent gender gap in STEM fields, with women significantly underrepresented. Engaging girls in STEM education and careers is not just about closing this gap but also about unlocking their full potential and fostering a more inclusive and diverse workforce.

Here’s how we can empower girls in STEM and inspire them to pursue their passions:

2D animation might be considered a dying art with the shift to 3D animation in the early 2000s
by Disney, Pixar and other major animation art houses. In an era where series and shows are
the top form of consumed media, the flourishing anime industry of Japan has taken the limelight
by delivering gripping stories in artistic ways that grab the attention of everyone.

In our endeavour to justly portray the various stressors that unsettle our generation, we conducted a survey by posing 10 questions to students of Classes 6, 8, 10 and 12. Our objective was to translate our findings into listing the triggers that we believe are instrumental in shaping the thought processes of this generation. Responses to this questionnaire were insightful and gave us a better understanding of how we, along with other members of the Gen Z, view this world.

One Style Fits All

As time passes and the world evolves, so do certain notions. And again, there are times when this
evolution is almost cyclical.

One concept that has to a certain extent run a full circle is fashion. Fashion then and fashion now
have begun to coincide, especially in the world of men’s fashion.

The people who call for ‘manly men’ and get agitated at the sight of a man in a blouse, seem to have conveniently forgotten the generations of men who traditionally wore ‘feminine’ clothing.

In today’s fast-paced and competitive world, academic success is often viewed as the key to unlocking a bright future. While traditional classroom learning plays a significant role in shaping a student’s educational journey, the importance of extracurricular activities cannot be overstated, especially for girls. These activities not only provide a well-rounded education but also offer numerous benefits that extend beyond the academic realm.

Here’s how extracurricular activities can positively impact girls’ academic performance and future prospects:
