On 15th May 2026, Sushila Birla Girls’ School celebrated the 165th birth anniversary of the extraordinary poet, writer, composer, playwright, philosopher, social reformer and painter, Rabindranath Tagore in the CPA. The students arranged a variety of songs, dances and poems to celebrate the Bard of Bengal in a humble manner. The programme was based on Tagore’s love for seasons and thus the programme was rightfully named ‘Robir Ronge Ritur Utsab’. The programme began with the song ‘Hey Nuton’ sung by the teachers.

Education Excellence Awards 2026

On 11th June 2026, Sushila Birla Girls' School received the award for 'Excellence in 21st Century Skills & Career Readiness' under the aegis of the Education Excellence Awards 2026, the most aspirational recognition for excellence in education. It was presented by The Economic Times at Delhi. The Headmistress, Mrs Nabanita Sen accepted the award on behalf of the institution.
