Festive Flavours – A Collaborative Project

Sushila Birla Girls School Kolkata organised a collaborative project with Kempfort Public School, Bhopal titled the ‘Festive Flavours’ to celebrate the joy of togetherness and learning through food. The event took place on both offline and online platform 9th and 11th September 2025. It witnessed the enthusiastic participation of grandparents and their grandchildren, who came together to showcase a variety of traditional and festive dishes.

International Peace Day

To mark International Peace Day on 21st September, students from Classes III to V participated in a collaborative project with Institución Educativa El Castillo, Colombia, for a vibrant cross-cultural exchange. They engaged in peace pledges, songs and poster-making activities while reflecting on global peace icons and initiatives. The collaboration fostered empathy, creativity, and intercultural dialogue, inspiring students to promote harmony across borders.

A student may require a résumé for various purposes, such as applying for internships, universities, colleges, part-time jobs and scholarships. Most organisations need only ten seconds to realise if the résumé goes into the ‘accept’ pile or the ‘reject’ pile. Therefore, it is essential to build a résumé that truly stands out to be at the top of the accept pile. Needless to say, the first thing that should be mentioned in it is one’s educational qualification. Education is a student’s biggest asset. However, just listing down the academic achievements does not suffice.
